Founded by Panama City native James Shaw, Gulf Coast Precision (GCP) Engineering brings over a decade of Department of Defense engineering experience to the Gulf Coast community. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University – Panama City, James combines technical expertise with a deep-rooted commitment to local growth and service.
Born and raised in Panama City, James comes from a family of business owners and launched GCP Engineering to carry on that legacy—supporting both the region’s economic development and its close ties to the military. From custom fabrication and PCA prototyping to control panels and cable assemblies, GCP delivers precision-driven solutions with the mission focus and hometown pride that sets us apart.
